Web is a bunch of lists, let's break it (OER)

About this Content OER

The starting point of this creative programming OER that which is most familiar to us: the Web. The journey therefore starts in medias res, in the middle of things – we excavate very basic and generic operations of computer programs such as source code, looping and iteration, functions and how to use and define them, objects, and basic data types from within the medium of the web. All programming is done in JavaScript the browser developer console.

Goals

This course is a product of the teaching research project "Medienpraxiswissen" (http://medienpraxiswissen.rub.de). As an Open Educational Resource, it serves to make a course from the project accessible to other teachers. The course is designed for media practice teaching. The aim of the course is to familiarise students with the the media, technical, social and economic aspects of (visions of) the metaverse.
